#GivingTuesday

Good morning, and happy December.

I hope you and yours had a warm and happy Thanksgiving.

As you may already know, today is Giving Tuesday – a global day of generosity to empower and uplift community organizations across the world. We are proud to participate every year and hope you do, too.

For this year’s #GivingTuesday, we are excited to announce our new partnership with Lasting Change. An app-based donation platform, Lasting Change allows users to round up leftover change from transactions and donate the sum to their charity of choice. We at Drive are honored to be one of the first members on the new platform, and hope you are inspired today to support our work through Lasting Change or direct donations online. Whether big or small, every dollar given makes a difference. 2024 has been a record year for Drive – with your help, we introduced a U.S. Senate bill, appeared on major news networks, raised awareness with millions of viewers on social media, created spaces for crash survivors to share their stories, and led hundreds of Americans to contact their legislators. We could not have accomplished this impactful work without your support.

But we’re just getting started. In 2025, we will expand both our advocacy and supportive programming across the nation. We hope to establish memorial funds, scholarship and essay programming, build out our advocacy presence, and more.

We do not often ask for financial support, but we are today. Together, we can create a future where every body—regardless of gender—is equally protected in every car. Join us in driving change. Every gift, no matter the size, makes a life-saving difference.
