Contact Your Senator & Tell Them to Make Cars Safe for Women
Hello, and happy mid-August.
As you may know, Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE), Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), and Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-IL) introduced the bipartisan She DRIVES Act in May, which would effectively make cars safe for women. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH), and Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) recently joined as co-sponsors.
The bill, S. 4299, directs the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to test cars with the most advancedfemale crash test dummy, and to use it equally as the male.
The She DRIVES Act is a game-changer. And while these new co-sponsors are important, we need more support in the Senate to pass this bill. We need your help.
If you want to help make American cars safe for women, please contact your Senator here, and tell them to co-sponsor S. 4299. Then, tell your friends to do the same.
The only way we can win this fight is together.
Thank you for your support.
Warmly, Maria
